Cap'n Crunch Chicken on the Blackstone Griddle | Griddle Food Network
08/04/2021: On this episode of the Griddle Food Network, we griddle up Cap'n Crunch Chicken on the Blackstone Griddle. Griddle cooking at its finest. Another great griddle recipe.
This recipe's ingredients:
- Chicken Tenders (Tenderize prior to placing on the griddle top)
- Flour add 2 TBL spoons of Salt & Pepper / Optional 2 TBL spoons of Onion Powder
- Egg wash (2 Eggs with 1/2 cup of milk whipped)
| Egg count will vary on amount of chicken)
- 1/2 Cup of Panko Bread Crumbs
- 3 Cups of Cap'n Crunch Cereal (Use Food Processor to chop)
| Take a handful and crush so you have bigger pieces to mix in
Cook your chicken to 150 degrees. Then pull them and dress them in flour, followed by an egg wash then place in the cap'n crunch.
Have your griddle set to high heat and place some oil (your choice) on the griddle top and wait about 30 seconds then add your chicken and flash fry them from between 30 seconds to 1 minute. Depeding on the thickness of chicken you use, will determine how long to flash fry to finish the chicken and ensure the egg is cooked.
