20211015 More on Masks - The Daily Summation

Look, it's hard enough to make sense of masks at ALL.

The screening of the invisible particulate matter that can pass through them indiscriminately is enough reason to question their efficacy.

The nearly constant and ongoing wear CANNOT HELP but cause contamination and potential other issues (including a moisture and potential issue with infection as a result of "recycling air.")

But when you tell people at a given workplace, they can take their masks off when they're sitting in their seat, the fact that you can smell Joe's lunch should be disconcerting if there's a reason for mask wear.

Add to that the fact that you can smell malodorous things in the bathroom when you have your mask ON, often AS WELL AS those same food smells, and you begin to wonder just how effective masks actually are for everyday wear.

As if all of this wasn't enough, then you've issues with the idea that some folks are wearing masks that are seriously little more than handkerchiefs over their faces.

It's for these reasons (and others, to be fair) that I felt a need to cover this subject YET AGAIN on this edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.
