Fun, Chickens, and Farming - Bayard Cutting Arboretum

Today we visited the #BayardCuttingArboretum in #GreatRiver #NY. It is a wonderful place to quietly walk around and immerse yourself in various types of #plants and trees as well as the largest #Dahlia garden on the #eastcoast. The best is that it changes year round. We got to enjoy the #garden and #farm they have built as well as some of the #farmequipment that was once used. We, also, saw the #bees and #chickens. Though we didn't get any for dinner :). Some of the #trees are so massive compared to what we see every day and could serve as a #fort. It would be a great place for #hideandseek as Chris will demonstrate! Unfortunately, some of the trees were toppled in the recent #tropicalstorm, but new ones will grow!!! We learned how to pronounce #pinetum!
