The second song from Jim Chaps First songwriter demo project, East From River is an obscure classic in the genre of acoustic "cross-country" or country gospel. It is a song about facing the unknown. Jim began playing original songs as a teenager in 1975 at The Hinge coffeehouse in Dearborn at FairLane Manor the former residence of Clara and Henry Ford.
