Dr Tess Lawrie: Covid Treatments and a New Alternative to the WHO

Dr Tess Lawrie joins Hearts of Oak to discuss different treatments for COVID and also the formation of a new alternative to the WHO , World Council for Health.

Dr. Tess Lawrie is a world-class researcher and consultant to the World Health Organization.

The seed was planted late in December 2020, when Tess watched Dr. Pierre Kory of the Front-Line Covid-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC) testify before the US Senate on the potential of Ivermectin for prevention and treatment of COVID-19.
She looked into the data and decided to conduct a rapid systematic review and meta-analysis to assess the data for herself.
Dr Lawrie was struck by the seeming efficacy of the drug in reducing mortality and morbidity, and, as a doctor, considered it her duty to inform the UK health authorities about this potential breakthrough treatment.
In early January Dr Lawrie co-founded the BIRD panel (The British Ivermectin Recommendation Development Group) a non-profit organisation made up of an international group of experts dedicated to the transparent and accurate scientific research of Ivermectin.
On April 24, 2021, she convened the International Ivermectin for COVID Conference, the first such symposium in the world held to focus on Ivermectin to prevent and treat COVID-19.
Dr Lawrie wrote an open Letter to Prime Minister Boris Johnson re Ivermectin success in treatment and prevention of COVID-19, calling for him to direct the NHS to use it immediately.
