LFG! Texas Bans All Vaccine Mandates | 10/12/21

In a rebuke of President Joe Biden, Texas Governor Greg Abbott issued an executive order prohibiting any entity, including private businesses, from imposing vaccine requirements. Will other states follow Texas’ lead in fighting back against these mandates? The CEO of Southwest says the mass cancellations weren’t due to any protests against vaccine mandates, instead blaming the weather and air traffic control. The CEO says he’s against mandates, blaming Joe Biden’s executive order, and now says no employees will be fired over the mandates. One has to wonder what made him change his mind! A record high 4.3 million Americans quit their jobs in August, leading to a lower than expected number of jobs added. Nets guard Kyrie Irving has been banned from participating in team activities until he’s fully vaccinated. Irving has indicated he doesn’t plan on getting the shot. Will he stick to what he believes is right or comply with the team’s orders?
