Want to cut down on sugar consumption?

It's something all of us should be trying to do, really.

I had an Instagram Live with Dr. Michael Goran, author of Sugarproof: The Hidden Dangers of Sugar That Are Putting Your Child's Health at Risk and What You Can Do.

In this clip, we discuss sugar, and some alternative sweeteners that you might have heard about, too.

There are healthier choices you can make that are great alternatives, including:

🥥 coconut sugar

🍁 maple syrup

Think about where a person might be able to make changes in their life when it comes to sugar consumption. It's not all obvious sources of sugar like candy, either:

It can come from bagels 🥯, pasta, 🍝, bread 🍞, and countless other sources, too.

They'll all turn into sugar, so they're not nutrient-dense, health-enriching foods like we want to be concentrating on.
