Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth (2005) was developed by Headfirst Productions and published my Bethesda Softworks and Ubisoft.

This game is one of brilliant, innovative ideas (some of which made it into legendary games like Amnesia), immersive setting/atmosphere, mixed with a terrible progression structure and game breaking bugs. During my playthrough I was engrossed and amazed early on and during the latter half disgusted, frustrated, and irritated. I didn't get to finish the game due to bugs, so I cannot comment on the ending. Overall, the game creates
an atmosphere of horror with great survival mechanics then loses all it's momentum when it counts. You've been warned!
