Police have shared body worn camera footage in which officers from the NYPD 75th Precinct saved a baby in East New York in Brooklyn that was no longer breathing.

The Officers Bryant Blake and Dylan Lynch drove the baby to Brookdale Hospital while performing CPR.

The two officers were on patrol and were joined almost at the same time at the emergency call by NYPD Sgt. Kyle Barnett.

When the officers turned up, as can be seen in the footage, the ambulance had not yet arrived, and they knew that they had to get the baby to the hospital quickly.

NYPD Sgt. Kyle Barnett then took the child and climbed into the patrol car of the two officers, and drove the two-mile trip to the hospital with fellow officers blocking traffic on the way to keep the road clear.

Thanks to their quick actions, and those of the doctors and nurses, the child is alive and well.
