The Cumbre Vieja volcano on La Palma, Canary Islands - The Coming Mega-Tsunami?

As the Cumbre Vieja volcano rumbles away spewing molten lava into the Atlantic Ocean there is a possible disaster that looms on the horizon. Will part of the fractured island slide into the ocean, and will it cause a mega-tsunami that will send a wall of water toward the east coasts of both North and South America?
