One Of Our Deleted Albums Series

Skylark was based in Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia and was active circa 1971-1973.

This was the first of two Skylark albums released before Skylark disbanded in 1973. It was released on Capitol Records, catalogue number ST-611048. Both Skylark albums have long since been deleted from the Capitol Records catalogues and, as far as I can tell, are no longer available apart from a CD-R release on Amazon which, according to reviews, is of very questionable quality.

Skylark had a hit from this album with the track Wildflower.

This album is also notable as one of David Foster's earliest recording credits (for the arrangements on this album as well as songwriting credit on Suites For My Lady).

Track List:

1. Brother Eddie 0:00
2. What Would I Do Without You 4:30
3. A Long Way To Go 8:01
4. Suites For My Lady 11:51
5. I'll Have To Go Away 14:55
6. The Writing's On The Wall 20:01
7. Twenty Six Years 23:04
8. I'm In Love Again 28:03
9. Wildflower 31:25
10. Shall I Fail 35:36
