The Prom\ised Land

This is a song I wrote about this new "White Privilege designation the left has come up with. I went to college part time while working a full time job and performing in a band every Friday and Saturday night. I was also married supporting my wife and a son. I have run a jack hammer, carried steel, loaded cases of 32 oz Coke Bottles on a truck, carried sides of beef on a truck, cut trees out of power lines, and pounded stakes in the hot sun. As a computer programmer I worked 14 to 16 hour days for a year during the effort to covert systems to Y2K compliance - one of many death march projects over many years.. The very idea that I got what I have because of White Privilege is racist and offensive.
