Music by Michel Legrand, lyrics by Alan Bergman and Marilyn Bergman for the 1969 movie "The Happy Ending." This song was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song but lost to "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head." It was one of many popular standards we performed at the restaurant as background music.
