Donne falls a very beautiful natural waterfall is near Ankola #Talagadde.Uttara Kannada district India, is worth visiting and very suitable for picnic. National Highway 17, a coastal highway on the Western Ghats (from Mangalore to Mumbai),passes close to Gokarna. The town is 56 kilometres from Karwar, 252 kilometres from Mangalore, 145 kilometres from Hubli, and 450 kilometres from Bangalore. The nearest airport is at Panaji, Goa, 155 kilometres away.
Nearby city Ankola and Gokarna are accessible by Road, Rail. Donne falls is about 15 km from both Ankola and Gokarna. From main road one has to walk for ten minutes.
