Mother of Twins--One Year Post-Op Update!

It has been a year since my diastasis recti repair surgery, and now that my abs have been restored, so has my strength! I aspire to be as strong as my little five year old daughter one day! LOL! 🤣

I am so grateful I found a talented plastic surgeon who ultimately gave me my life back. For years I haven’t been able to fully enjoy vacations (even Hawaii!! 😱), swimming pools, going out, even just dressing up. I was uncomfortable and in pain ALL THE TIME, and I felt like I always had to wear a corset not only for ab support, but also so no one could mistaken me as being pregnant. I couldn’t blame them—because I did look pregnant!! 😬😭💔 I could fit my whole hand in my diastasis gap, so my DR definitely needed to be corrected, and I am thankful that it was ❤️🙏❤️

I couldn't be happier with my results and am thrilled to share those results with you. I hope that by sharing my story, I can help anyone who is struggling with the idea of starting their own journey through diastasis recti repair surgery, offer peace of mind to any fears concerning surgery, and validate that this surgery is an important and valuable endeavor for any mother who is suffering from pain, discomfort, or insecurity in their post-pregnancy body. You are worth it!

A big THANK YOU to those who helped make this surgery possible, and to everyone who shared their love and support during this challenging time. I feel so blessed and am incredibly thankful that I found the best surgeon for myself, I am grateful for all those who supported me along my journey to getting my life back, and I am overwhelmed with great love for my incredible daughters who make every moment in my life more beautiful. Thank you for watching, and I hope you all have a blessed day! Much love to you all!! ❤️🥰❤️

P.S.-- The background music I chose for the photos makes me laugh! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do 🤣🤣🤣❤️
