Splatoon 2 Online League Battles (Recorded on 11/25/17)

Nintendo released a huge patch for this game on Thanksgiving which added a bunch of new stuff I don't really care about. Nintendo also added a bunch of new music, and let me tell you, it sucks. I don't know who came up with these songs, but they're terrible. In particular, the song from the third match in my upload (apparently named "Shipwreckin'") is fucking atrocious. It is the worst music I've ever heard in a video game, and Nintendo should be ashamed for releasing something that bad. Seriously Nintendo, patch the game to remove that song. And patch the damn lag while you're at it.

But the good news is that the day after Thanksgiving, Nintendo released the Hydra Splatling. I've been wanting to use the Hydra for a long time now, so as soon as it was released I started testing it in various game modes.

Unfortunately, I've found that the Hydra Splatling is currently in need of some adjustments. The wind-up needs to be a little faster and the movement speed should be increased a bit as well. But for right now, I'm able to put the weapon to good use so long as my team is good. It's a great weapon for countering snipers and holding down wide open areas.

It took me a while to record good footage of this weapon, but luckily, last night Keet, Splash, Ken and I managed to do just that. Enjoy the fire hydrant raining down death from above.
