Zip and Zap Sept 2021

Zip and Zap learning to yield to the handler on stock, a major component to admission into The Society.

At this point I only try to physically control direction. I don't worry about puppy enthusiasm because they are just learning to manage stock. The more they can learn on their own the better. My operation requires a strong dog so I don't ask for any distance off stock until much later in training.

I don't add verbal commands until the pup is comfortable working stock and a bit more deliberate on sheep. I'll build on what they do naturally.

This training is dependent on earlier lessons which were taught without stock.
