South Africa have won the maiden edition of the Aisha Buhari Cup after defeating the Super Falcons of Nigeria 4-2.

Despite Nigeria parading stars like Asisat Oshoala, the hosts were humbled by Banyana Banyana.

South Africa beat Nigeria in final of the invitational.

A terrific performance from the Desire Elis’ girls. They showed class and dominated the Super Falcons in front of the Nigerian fans.

South Africa are taking home the #AishaBuhariCup while host, Nigeria will be down to 3rd.
