How to Convert a Mixed Number to an Improper Fraction | 10 and 2/7 | Part 2 of 2 | Minute Math

In this video we learn how to convert a mixed number to an improper fraction. We convert 10 and 2/7 into an improper fraction.

The steps we followed are:
1) Multiply the whole number by the denominator.
2) Add the numerator to the product found in Step 1.
3) Write the final sum over the original denominator.
