The Larson Electronics LM-SYM-XX-CTRL-R1 Master Control Box provides a safe and effective way for operators to sync LM-SYM series masts. Suitable for syncing up to 4 LM-SYM series electric winch masts, the unit facilitates start, stop and emergency stop functions.

The LM-SYM-XX-CTRL-R1 serves as a master control box for syncing up to 4 LM-SYM series electric winch masts. This unit features the following controls: start, stop and emergency stop. When emergency stop is pressed, the system is fully deactivated and all syncing masts stop at their current height (the towers do not reset). Protected by a metal housing, the control box is compatible with surface mounting installations. Syncing is only possible with the master remote control box. Each mast in the LM-SYM series has its own set of controls for individual raising and lowering.

Syncing occurs when the towers are raised and lowered. During operation, the syncing masts may have up to 12" height variation for short periods of times only. When the towers are being raised or lowered in sync, all units elevate (or move down for collapsing) to a set height then pause before elevating (or moving down for collapsing) and pausing again to the next set height. This process is continuous until all syncing masts reach their full extended height or collapsed height. The staggered raising and lowering pattern ensures all towers sync as accurately as possible, while taking a wide range of elements such as wear, payload weight, voltage variation and other unforeseen factors into consideration.
