Conflicts of Interest #164: Clinton Lawyer Indicted Over Russiagate Misinformation Scheme

On COI #164, Kyle Anzalone breaks down the recent indictment of Clinton lawyer Mike Sussmann. Sussmann was indicted by the Durham investigation looking into the origins and crimes committed in crafting the phony Russiagate narrative. Sussmann passed "data" to the FBI and funneled it to media outlets while working on the Clinton campaign. Clinton operatives then used those reports to claim a Trump-Putin conspiracy was being uncovered, despite planting the information themselves. [Correction: The lawyer’s name is Mike Sussmann; Kyle mistakenly called him Mark.]

Kyle discusses recent reporting by Bob Woodward on Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Mark Milley. Woodward claims that Milley twice contacted a Chinese general about potential US attacks on China, placing himself into the nuclear chain of command. Milley's alleged actions have Americans calling him a hero and traitor.

Kyle updates the August 29th drone strike in Kabul that left 10 civilians – including 7 children – dead. While the Pentagon initially claimed it thwarted an ISIS-K attack on the Kabul Airport, with Gen. Milley calling the strike "righteous" and the White House deeming it "successful," the military now admits that the strikes killed 10 innocent people.
