Red Cross launches initiative to get more Black blood donors during Sickle Cell Awareness Month

September is National Sickle Cell Awareness Month, a blood disorder that can cause severe pain in those who have it. While the American Red Cross is always looking for blood donors, they're putting out a special call this month.
