Medano Creek Pass, Colorado

I drove over the Medano pass, through the Sangra De Christo mountain range in South Central Colorado. This was back in 1987. We had to cross the Medano Creek more than 8 times. The water level of the creek fords (crossings) seemed to have dropped dramatically since then, because of the 8 times we crossed, 5 of them submerged our Blazer to under water to window level. We had to rush to put the windows up, before the water poured in.
