This 6x52 stick features a dark brown firmly packed wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap, slight tooth and potent peppery sweet hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plumes of full bodied smoke showing a sweet nut, leather, pepper and building spice through the long finish with a thick chewy mouthfeel. The first third mellows a tick to a medium-full body with the sweetness and pepper also coming down. The core is a dry nuttiness leaving a parched feeling through the long finish. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 35 minutes the 2nd third changes to a lighter nuttiness on the start of the draw quickly followed by a deep leather that further shifts to a general earthiness through the finish. The pepper comes back in joined by a substantial smoked meat sensation lasting to the next draw. Ending at 1:10 the last third goes hot with an inch remaining showing perfect construction and a strength bump to medium. Flavors shift to a creamy leather on the draw followed by a sweet creamy nut on the full finish.
