Alessandro Zaccone was run over on MotoE race 1 in Misano yesterday 18 sept 2021; The rider was taken to the world championship 's medical center immediately.

The crash happened during the race. He defended the MotoE World Championship lead this saturday in the 1st race at Misano. But sadly, on the opening lap the pilote crashed. A. Zaccone, from Octo Pramac crashed, was run over by Hikari Okubo (Avant Ajo). Zaccone managed to get up. But he was left with physical complaints... however, later on he was seen at the World Championship circuit’s medical center. No details were given about his condition, nor about any injuries he might have suffered.
Alessandro Zaccone (born 16 January 1999 in RIMINI. Italy.) is an Italian motorcycle racer. He competes in the MotoE World Cup 2021.
