In the Book of Daniel of the Holy Bible Chapter 10:13 Daniel prays for the assistance of the Archangel Michael, but Michael was delayed 21 days by "The Prince of Persia" whom I believe to be the Devil himself, or a high-ranking demon working for Satan.
Daniel 10:13 (KJV) "But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia."
