Fashion Plates Part "Duh"

Someone educate me on where the fundraising efforts are applied for the yearly event known as the "Met Gala." It's got the stuff for an insane comedy skit that is likely no longer allowed in light in a world that's now so insufferably PC or forces people to be. Nevertheless, who knew that even in the middle of an ongoing health crisis, the show must go on... Scenes that are as unnecessary as pronouns ins someone's bio as far as I'm concerned.
