The third of a series called "Abe's Little Visits". These are short interviews between Abraham Lincoln enactor Mark "The Freedom Poet" Skogerboe and Gordon Howie.

In this visit, Abe tells us about his love for Ann Rutledge, and his time as a champion wrestler. Both of these experiences helped him become the man he would be as president of the United States, and prepared him to help bind up the wounds of the nation.

Taken from a wide variety of sources, these snippets are Abe Lincoln's words, experiences, wisdom and extensive knowledge of American history. As Abe said, "It is not history unless it is the truth."
