Stop comparing Covid to polio and smallpox

A friend made a post on Facebook about the polio vaccine. I made a comment stating the differences and now comments are shit off for further conversation. This friend’s name was not stated as I respect their opinion and value their friendship, I just don’t agree. What do you think?
