What's in the Bag?

Whether we hike 2 Miles or 50 Miles, we carry certain basics the remain static and standard irrelevant of the season or terrain. These Items are in all of our bags and were inspired in general by Dave Canterbury's "Equipment hard to reproduce/Come by in the wild" (Otherwise known as the 10C's of survival).

Our bags are a work in progress. We constantly upgrade and change out equipment as our budget allows it. The mentality I followed was get the cheap Flashlight now or the cheap $5 Multi tool now, because a 22 on the hip is better than the 45 left at home.
Is this ideal? NO!! but as my Budget allowed it I could upgrade to a better tool, and the cheap tool can be repurposed to a general vehicle bag or in preparation for my sons bag one day.

Not to be confused with EDC, these bags are our Hike bags. They are always ready and staged. The only changes will be the seasonal changes, An extra fleece warmer or lighter socks or other apparel. Terrain specifics like snow/mountain equipment, let your imagination wander on the possibilities.

Thank you for watching our video, if you want to see anything in the future let me know in the comments, a future project is to show how I make Biltong (South African Jerky) and braiding my Cords so they remain tangle free always without fail.
