(Originally Aired 15 December 2019) Reflecting on events that were unfolding in Hong Kong at the time, I muse how 2A, in and of itself, is not sufficient to preserve liberty.

Hear me out on this: unless you have a philosophical foundation to cherish civil rights (fostered by the other amendments in the Bill of Rights), you will have no basis to defend them.
