DashcamBodycam Shows Arrest Of Vehicle Burglary Suspect After Police Chase

Lubbock Police arrested a man after he led officers on a chase when they found him driving a stolen truck. Manny James Ontiveros, 30, was arrested after police said he was found driving a 1995 Ford F-150 that had gone missing hours earlier. Officers responded to a vehicle burglary call at Sunnyside Learning Academy on Thursday. According to LPD, the suspect's vehicle description matched a stolen vehicle from earlier that day from Covenant Medical Center. LPD said officers found the stolen pickup parked in the 4000 block of 44th Street, and said Ontiveros took off when officers approached.
