#garmin #GPSUpdate scam alert! So, you need to update your maps on your Garmin or other GPS devices? Be careful what website you click on!!! Go straight through to the company website and download their app. My husband was trying to update his Garmin and typed in a simple search on Google to find their website. Instead he clicked on this website - gpsupdateapp.com He thought he was talking with Garmin through their online chat and that's when the chat asked for his phone number and a tech from India called him and wanted access to my husbands computer to "fix" the computer because it was preventing the GPS from updating. So here is the video of me going to the website this morning and recording the process. Don't fall for it! #ScamAlert
