If you're a newbie, you can always do the posture on the ground with your knees.
It will still strengthen your core and work your core.

✅ Begin on your hands and knees. Your knees should be directly below your hips and wrists should be under your shoulders
✅ Straighten one leg and then the other, tucking your toes
✅ Engage your core so that your back is flat and your body is in a straight line
✅ Hold for 30-45 seconds
✅ For a challenge, bend your elbows and lower to your forearms

Slowly transition from one pose to the next,
remembering to breathe as you go. Pause after any position that is difficult for you, especially if you are out of breath, and resume after your breathing has returned to normal.
Each pose should be held for a few deep breaths before moving on to the next.
