Olathe ER doctor reflects on 9/11 recovery efforts

Within hours of the twin towers collapsing on 9/11, Dr. Stephanee Evers, who had graduated UMKC School of Medicine a year earlier, was on her way to New York City as part of an urban search and rescue team.
