Phoenix Family serves senior citizens facing food insecurity

Senior citizens are especially susceptible to food insecurity. In 2019, 5.2 million Americans, over the age of 60, had limited access to food. Phoenix Family, a local non-profit organization, is serving over 1,200 seniors in the Kansas City Metropolitan area to help combat this public health crisis.
