Boris Johnson has announced a 1.25% tax INCREASE which will plug the healthcare and social funding CRISIS, admitting it breaks a manifesto commitment but he added 'A pandemic was in nobody’s manifesto.'

'Everybody has relatives who can potentially face the cost of care,' he said, before explaining a cap will be placed on how much citizens spend themselves on care before the state subsidizes costs.
