Today I want to cover mercury toxicity.

Symptoms of mercury toxicity:
• Muscle weakness
• Poor concentration
• Peripheral neuropathy
• Skin rashes
• Anxiety
• Poor memory
• Trouble speaking
• Trouble hearing
• Trouble seeing
• Symptoms related to high adrenaline (excess sweating, tachycardia, increased salivation, high blood pressure, insomnia)

Mercury binds with SAMe. It blocks the ability for SAMe to work. SAMe is needed for adrenaline breakdown. If you can’t break down adrenaline, you’ll have too much.

Mercury also inhibits selenium, especially selenoenzymes. You need these enzymes to restore vitamin C and vitamin E networks. Without selenium, you will have a much smaller antioxidant network.

Symptoms of mercury toxicity in children:
• Red cheeks and nose
• Loss of teeth
• Rashes
• Muscle weakness
• Increased sensitivity to light

What you can do:
1. Avoid fish that are high in mercury
2. Have your dental amalgams removed
3. Take selenium
4. Take SAMe
5. Take EDTA
6. Take glutathione
7. Take NAC
