Weight Loss

These are 2 of the first poses I learned when I started yoga. They’re easy and, combined, great for weight loss. Other benefits include: Downward Facing Dog. It decompresses the spine and pumps oxygenated blood throughout your body and brain, thus, stimulating and improving organ function. It relieves back pain, headaches, and fatigue. It reduces swelling in the legs, and increases flexibility, strength, and energy level. It rejuvenates and benefits the entire body. Child’s Pose. It relaxes, lengthens, and strengthens the lower back, shoulders, hips, thighs, and ankles. It increases blood circulation, aids in digestion, releases anxiety, energizes the body, and calms the mind.
Again, this is not medical advice. This is something that has worked well for Vanessa and she is simply sharing her vinyasa. Check with your body, your physician, and God for a routine that would work well for you.
