Neoliberalism: Can Mis-Defining (or Mystifying) a Term Change Decades of History?

I look at a discussion on VivaBarnes with the Duran guys on Afghanistan which compares neoliberalism to neoconservatism, but features today's common usage of the former and not its actual definition - how does this change the story? Completely, I think.
There will be a second part of this video, but that focused on their presentation of various aspects of the history of US involvement in Afghanistan going back over 40 years and its role in the ME neocon wars.
