Addison Montgomery is back.
A representative for ABC confirmed to USA TODAY Thursday that Walsh will return to the long-running hospital drama for its upcoming 18th season.
Walsh, who made her debut as fan-favorite Montgomery in the Season 1 finale in 2005, teased the announcement on TikTok Thursday by participating in the viral "Questions I frequently get asked" trend.
While bobbing along to music, Walsh responded "YES" to the question: "Will you ever come back to 'Grey's Anatomy'?
The video then cuts to show Walsh in her white coat as she mouths the words, "Surprise, (expletive).
I bet you thought you'd seen the last of me."

"It’s really happening," Walsh captioned the post.
"Dr.
Addison Montgomery will see you shortly"

Walsh shared the same video on Instagram, where Ellen Pompeo, who stars as Meredith Grey on the series, commented, "Lets give them what they want…..quality tv drama"

Shondaland, the production company helmed by "Grey's Anatomy" executive producer Shonda Rhimes, also shared another video on Twitter of Walsh announcing her return.
