Under $100 DIY Swamp Cooler for our Greenhouse and Aviary
After doing some research on building a DIY swamp cooler I put together this portable swamp cooler for our greenhouse and finch aviary. This was a very inexpensive option with the total cost for this basic setup costing under $100. This cooler has been able to maintain our greenhouse aviary at reasonable temps for our finches and plants.
Supplies included unglued PVC, a standard swamp cooler pump, 2 packages of swamp cooler pump hose (standard 1/2 in size), a drip line barbed cap, PVC screw-on cap, a barbed drip line joining connecter, blower motor, a Tupperware bin, and 2 pieces of cooler pad.
