Impactful Living

What you say, is it good? Is what you say impactful? Is what you do good? Don’t you want what you do to be something that impacts the lives of others with goodness? Of course, we do. But nothing is truly impactful with a permanence if it is not done out of the power of followship of God. Are we following after God? Or are we just doing what we think is good enough? Are we watching what God is doing and joining in with Him? Or are we doing good things and asking God to join us? Of course, we naturally want to help people change things up in their lives for the better. Why? Because we have the compassion of God’s heart engrained in us. Is this enough? Are we enough? God is the only enough! In order to live a life which is impactful, it starts with God. What does that mean? I decide what I am going to do and say, but this is not impactful, the way to be impactful is to connect personally, heart to heart with God, surrender to what God wants us to do or say. Lord, what do you want me to say or do today? Followship is impactful, it is meaningful because we are following after what God wants us to do or say. Being impactful is not about what “we think we know”! Impactful is what God knows. Lasting change starts with Jesus, heart to heart with Jesus. To be God’s impactful agent of change, we have to be connected to the power source of God. The resurrection of Jesus, was the greatest transformation mankind would ever know. It was impactful. Salvation, giving our hearts to Jesus, this is impactful. To be an impactful human being, we must be connected to Jesus, heart to heart, our lives surrendered to the followship of Him. Do we know the heart compassion of God? Do we breathe, live and move in the Sovereign sway of God? God is on the move, He has a redemptive plan, He has a kingdom endgame, and it is not the way we think it is. God’s ways are not our ways. When will we learn this?! Have we let go of our will and way, surrendered to God all the compartments of our hearts, giving Him total access to our lives, being willing to be wholly-holy His agents of change? Are we willing to set aside our personal comfort, personal gain, personal lives, to add value to the Kingdom of God? Do we serve no power higher than self? Think on it. Are we impactful?
