Kathy Cantwell Trail at Little Orange Creek Preserve near Hawthorne, Florida, offers a 5 mile there-and-back hike through mostly shaded woods. It runs alongside the creek and is very low in traffic. You will find an observation deck near the midway point with this prairie view.
