Monday Moments 8-30-21

Over hearing a small group of guys sitting together for a cup of joe and discussing, you guessed it, cranberries.

It wasn’t the comments that captured my interest but how it was being presented.

There was one gent that did most of the talking and the rest leaned in for the lesson until a smartass remark was made and they all rolled back in their chairs for about the loudest chuckle you can ever imagine.

I liken the event to water cooler talk from back in the day, and the tribal bonfire that took place a millennia ago, but no one took notes or chiseled out the commandments onto stone tablets.

Now repeated over and over again there would be a transference of knowledge but writing it down leaves a useful or useless intent to transfer that said knowledge.

Never rely on your memory, if it captures your imagination jot it down, it’s far stickier that way. #dbrn
