The freshwater fish called Peacock bass is popularly known as Yellow Peacock bass. Cichla ocellaris. Its species is distributed in Amazonas and in the Southeast, Center-West and Northeast regions of Brazil. Tucunaré inhabits dams, dams, rivers and fish farming ponds.
