³PER KHOU11'S LIVE FEED, at 10 pm, Sat, Aug 28, 2021, IDA was a CAT 2 in the Gulf of Mexico. with 105 mph winds, traveling NW at 16 mph.³

after its exited out of CUBA on Fri, August 27.

IDA is expected to upgrade as a CAT4 on Sun, Aug 29th,
and likely to ³landfall in New Orleans later on Sun, Aug 29th, with CAT2 force ²on the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina². IDA is forecast to move through Baton Rouge, & then onward through Mississippi.³

IDA will be the first hurricane in the USA in 2021 to make landfall versus just spinning over land.
