Having served a year-long combat tour in Afghanistan and returning 10 times as the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, John Troxell has intimate knowledge of the mission being carried out by the men and women serving this country over the past 20 years. John gives his opinion on what has happened in Afghanistan since the drawdown of troops began in 2011, and specifically the developments since April of this year. Most importantly, SEAC Troxell shares his message of pride that every OEF veteran should feel about their service, and the difference that each armed service member made in the lives of the Afghan people. John also shares a story of success and message of thanks from his Afghan counterpart that has been safely evacuated to Qatar.
