My 5 tips to achieve soothing, deep, relaxation.
Life today is very hectic and demanding, causing stress, anxiety and tension (the condition in which muscles of the body remain semi-contracted for an extended period.) This is what I do to release tension and cool off.
1) Starting from the top of my head I focus on myself, the person I am, images and music. I relax my face, particularly around the Jaw and down to the neck.
2) I get rid of tension dropping the shoulders, arms and hands. This way I get rid of stifness also in the chest and abdomen, helping to maintain de-stressing.
3) Next, to my legs, particularly the top and calves, down to my feet.
4) Finally, this way, I get rid of stiffness in my body and achieve loosening. Continue the above.
5) Now, calmly I listen to the music, focus on the image and encourage deep relaxation in my body and mind.
