Is Suicide a Sin?

Every 40 seconds, someone dies from suicide (World Health Organization statistic). Many of these are bible-believing Christians who couldn’t find hope in this world and thought it would be better if they were dead. So many believe that the only way they will ever find peace is if they take their own lives. As a Church, we have failed to address this and find a way to help those who struggle with Anxiety, Depression, and Suicide, which leads us to ask the question: Is suicide a sin?
